The video series is set up so that you will learn the art of Ninjutsu level by level starting at 9th Kyu as a white belt wearing a black uniform called a gi. Kyu basically means 'level of attainment' and is recognized by a certified ranking certificate once completion and demonstration of the techniques are done in front of qualified International Bujinkan Dojo AssociationTM Instructor. We have a video review system available for students who desire to test and have no certified instructor near them. This video review and certification is available up to the level of 1st Kyu Brown Belt. This is 1 level before Shodan (1st degree BlackBelt), your first goal. The Shodan level is very important to us and you. This is a special day and we want it to be in person. We have a right of passage test as well as watching you demonstrate what you have learned. You will know you have earned it as you receive your Balck Belt that day and will be proud to wear it anywhere. Your certification will come from Japan sealed by Grandmaster Hatsumi and will also be signed personally from Shihan Richard Van Donk.

Each Level in the Distant Learning Series will take you deeper into the training and stack on top of the information that you have previously learned. Soon you will be handling attacks with ease and throwing your partners around, even using many weapons. In fact weapons training starts with the 2nd level and a new weapon is learned at each new level.

We have enough information on this art that you could spend 20 years studying and not learn it all even if you trained everyday, 10 hours a day. These teachings on this innovative BlackBelt course covers the basics from 9 traditional Ninjutsu schools called Ryus in Japan.
